Population Pyramid

Population pyramid is a graph which can show show us about the rate of male and female. Let me take an example, the African countries, most of countries of Africa have the highest rate of males and females. Especially the base of the population pyramid is very wide, because there are too many babies in African countries. there are almost three to four children per family. It can not show us the death rate and the born rate, but just at this time the number of each period population. And also, there are a lot  of pre-industriy from economy, which means these countries just machining some basic materials, that is cheap and no much profit. However, there are some countries such as US has the post-industry from economy, this kind of economy can make the highest profit by the easier way. Like Apple company and Microsoft.

About the CIA Facts which we mentioned on the class.

First of all, I want to mentioned is about a small island which is just 3/10 of Washington D.C. And the name of the small island is Pitcairn island. It is too small that there's no transformation issue, and military.Secondly, we talked about Syria, which happened a lot of wars there these year. there are almost 113 people per 1000 want to escape from this country.On the contrary, there is a country named Lebanon which has the highest immigration rate which is higher than 83. that is an amazing number. Because China's immigration rate is just -0.32. And the intersting thing is that Lebanon is just near Syria. That's shocked me.

Today's human geo

Today's class, a got my paper of last test, a terrible score.... Anyway, I will work harder from now on. Today's class, we focused on two topics, about Socrate's death and trail, and another one is globalisation. First of all, about Socrate's death, he never chose to escape from Greek because of his strong sense of responsibility. Finally, he chose to die in Greek. He encouraged his student to think to consider things freely, to break through the block from the local government. And his two crimes are1. debag from the God's mind which  the local government stated. And2. he eroded students' mind, their thinking. And about the globalisation, Cody said that John, Ryan and me are the symbol of globalisation, we from some different countries and there are some different cultures in our mind, but we still gather together to attend the class. That means globalisation. Also, a long time ago, Mr. Miller took some students of our school to Russia as the exchange students. That is also means globalisation.

The special day

Today is difference day from other days, John, Ryan and me didn't have class because of the Freshman Retreat.  To be honest, the freshman retreat is a little boring, we just sit together, and some juniors share their experiences about the school, about how to study better and how to learn effectively. But there are also a lot of funny parts. Such as we gather together with a big circle. And when the people who stand in the centre, he will say some qualification, and if you have one of these qualification, you should try your best to change your seat with others. Anyway, the freshman retreat just one purpose, that is to warm up with other students and ice break. We all enjoy the free day today.

Human Geo (about the population)

Nowadays, the social population become a serious problem, we have almost 20,100 babies born per day. And we already have more than 7 billion of people in the world. That is a really huge number! However, more and more countries like China state a raw which is limit the reproduction of families. Such as one family can just at most get one children. Up to this, our population increase of the world can get slower. But India has not a effective raw about the population, so the rate of indian population increase get faster than China. But we need to limit our population up rate.

After yesterday's test of unit 1, we began unit 2 today. A new chapter, a new feeling. Today's class, we talked about the population and the settlements. We have already 7 billion people on our earth. It is an amazing number. However, there are 1.3 billion of people in China! almost the 1/5! but the area of China is just a small portion of the earth. And also, there are almost 20,000 people has born every day, that is a large number. and 140 per minute, that is so interesting. A long time ago, people used almost 10,004 years to increase 1 billion of people, however, nowadays, we just need 12 years to increase the same amount! That's crazy.

About our first test in Human Geo

First test, I didn't do it very well, it also warn us that we need to attach importance to this course. We need to work harder than before. By the way, I'm so tired today, because I have four tests just on one day. That is so strange, when I back to the dorm, I slept very deep even I didm't hear the supervisor knocked my door. That is my feel to today's test, I swear, I will get the score on this course at least 90, trust me, I can make it.

Today's human geography is different from normal, because Mr. Schick didm't here, he was going to attend a meeting. So, Mr. Meyerl substitute Mr. Schick to teach. Actually, Mr. Meyerl assigned some works for us which we need to finish in class, that is on a website which named "quizlet" and create some new sets of the difficult words set and then test ourselves. It is very important because it is prepare for our test tomorrow. All of us in the class are nervous,so we all focused on it but not to play, to waste our time. We hope that we can get a great score tomorrow.

Today's Human Geo

This class, we talked about the globalisation, as the time goes on,  our world become smaller and smaller, so the globalisation become much more famous. Let me take some examples, McDonald's, the most famous fast food in the world today. However, 50 years ago, McDonald's just came into existence, that is not famous that time, but as the time goes, McDonald's come into the world and become much more famous than it just begin. And the same samples are also the KFC(Kentucky fried chicken), Burger King,etc. These companies could become popular just because of the globalisation. And also, like the Silk Road in ancient China, it is also the beginning of the globalisation. Thus, we can all see that the globalisation is very important for us, for our world.

Today is Thursday again, time really run fast, tomorrow has a test which I afraid about, that's Biology, I'm really bad at Biology, especially in America, I don't even know which everything means.  Anyway, today's Human Geography Mr. Schick talked about which fact in yesterday's video is your favourite. To me, I think the fact about India is interesting, it says in India, there are almost 25% kids have the highest IQ, the amount of these kids are more than all of the American kids. That is so amazing! At the first time, I just thought that India kids are much smart than kids in America, after a while, I understood, that's because India has so many people, that is why so many kids have the highest IQ. And also, in the class, we talked about Apple company. It is so big that much more than any other companies. It is also shocked me. Amazing facts, amazing class.

The class of Human Geo

Today's class, we focused on a short video which called "Did you know?". This video include a lot of facts in the world which I never heard before. That is amazing! Let me take some examples in the video. Like China will have most English speakers country in the world. And also, Indian has almost 25% kids who has the highest IQ born everyday. It is more than the all amount of kids in America. If people who use Facebook is in one country, it will be the third country which has the most population, just after China and India. There are so many amazing fact in this short video, I cannot believe my eyes when I watch that. Tat is so interesting for me.

The ninth class in Human Geo

In the class, Mr schick helped us to review some word which we mentioned last class. To be honest, these words are little bit difficult for us without searching the Internet. However, through this time, I could understand much more deeper than before. And also, in this time, we focused on a statement: an unexamined life is not worth living. That is true I think. For example, if we have not a try out, everyone can join the soccer ball team, so we cannot find the best player for our team. And also, if we have not a final exam, we will have no power to learn because everyone can go to collage without study hard. So I agree with the statement.

The eighth Human geography class

The time is always running so fast when we are enjoying, this is my eighth lass of Human Geography. Today we talked about some of the slangs of ancient Greek. That is interesting but also a little difficult for me. And also, Mr Schick, I like your music in thursday morning. That can encourage us and wake us up from sleepy. Some of my friends said that you are the kindest teacher in John Carroll, from your music and your class, I found it. That's true.

polis:It literally means the city in Greek. And normally used to indicate the ancient Greek city-states

A message to Gacia

Gacia , a General of America in Cuban War. Cuba was one of the most  dangerous countries at that time. And American faced some troubles that time, they need to tell the General named Gacia. He was the general who stayed in rain forest, his support was very important to America. But nobody know about his location even the highest commander of America. At this time, someone recommended Rowan to the commander, because he thought that Rowan is good at finding something. Then, the president adopted his advice, and ordered Rowan to find General Gacia and give him the letter. This is very important so that Rowan took it without thinking and either didn't ask where is him. Finally, Rowan  took three weeks and found General Gacia through the dangerous country by himself. He's so valiant that just think about how to finish the order better but don't think too much about the troubles he will face. He is one of the most brave warriors in the world. We all need to learn from.
