Class on 1/17
This is our last Human Geography class, and we had a big test, which valued 100 points. that is important for me to get a higher score in Human Geo. And I got 87 at last. This is really not bad, but it can be better. Fortunately, I have Mr. Schick's Western Civilization next semester. I will work harder.

Class on 1/15
Today's class, we discussed about should America drop nuclear weapon to North Korea. Some of the students like Cody and Stephen thought that it is better to start the attack first, they both thought North Korea is really a problem for United States to figure out, this is a big threaten for people in the world. But on the other side, students thought that it is not so good to use nuclear weapons to the other country. Because United States is a country in NPT. So if America used the weapon first, this statement will be break immediately. And the other seven countries will be super nervous, and maybe the third World War will begin... That is why I disagree about using Nuclear weapon to other countries.

Class on 1/14
Today's class, we talked about North Korea's three leaders, who are Kim Il - Sung, Kim Jong Il, and Kim Jong - Un. They are Kim Il - Sung is Kim Jong Il's father and Kim Jong - Un's grandfather. And Kim Jong Il is Kim Jong - Un's father. Kim Il - Sung as been viewed as a god, and he stayed in power for about 46 years. Kim Jong Il, the son of Kim Il - Sung, in the other words, he is the "Son of God" in North Korean's eyes. There is a crazy movie named "The Interview" that shows some crazy tricky about Kim Jong Il. Such as he doesn't need to eat food, he can walk on the third week after he born, he can speak on the fifth week and so on... Kim Jong - Un born in 1983, when he start in power, he was just 28 years old. The world's youngest head of state.
Near the end of the class, we also mentioned about nuclear weapons. There are eight countries in the world have successfully detonated nuclear. And five of them are NWS which means "nuclear - weapon states". Among these countries, just America used this weapon on people.

Class on 1/13
Today's class, we finished the video about North Korea. And this time, I knew that North Korean see their leader as their god. This is so amazing. The doctor came from Nepal to North Korea and help those people who are wrong with their eyes and when they get better, they just thought that it is the contribution of the Great Leader. And this appreciation is from their heart, they love their Great Leader as their parents. And they don't even think that their Great Leader will do something wrong. That amazed me.

class on 1/9
Yesterday's class, we watched a great documentary, it records almost everything about the government in North Korea. It told us that Korea is a country that refuse any import or export of the world. And also, it is a oppressive government, this government is headed by Kim Jong- Un. This country is entirely isolated by the government. Compare with us, children in North Korea can just stay, they will never see the world out of the country...

Class on 1/8
It was a special class today. First of all, Mr.Schick's daughter came to the class, and had the whole class with us. Next, our Professor Cody helped us to review about North Korea. Tobe honest, it was really fun, and I also learnt something. By the way, I think this is really a good way to review something we already learnt.

class on Jan 7th
Today's class, we talked about North Korea. there are several characteristics about North Korean's government.
Oppressive government. Very secluded and isolated from the world. Currently headed by Kim Jong- Un. Kim Jong- Un didn't seem to like The Interview.
Oppressive government: state- run socialist government that many consider to be a Stalinist dictatorship. Official name: Democratic People's republic of Korean(DPRK) notice that they say "Korea", not North Korea-- they claim to be the legitimate rulers of the entire peninsula.
Secluded and isolated: isolated by the government also somewhat isolated geographically. After all, they are on a peninsula. Pyongyang is the capital.
